Cookie & browser storage policy

How sign-in, temporary drafts and interface preferences use storage on your device.

Effective September 18, 2026 · Version 2026-09-18

1. What these technologies do

Cookies are small values a website stores in your browser. Local storage can persist until cleared; session storage is normally limited to a browser tab or session. Clinical Assistant and its providers use browser technologies to operate sign-in, security and requested features. They are different from the workspace records stored in your account.

2. Sign-in and security

Base44 manages authentication and may use cookies and browser storage, including access-token entries such as base44_access_token or token. These keep you signed in and help secure requests. Their duration depends on the provider’s session settings and your browser. Do not share these values. Signing out ends access through the app’s sign-out flow; clearing site data can remove remaining local values but does not delete your cloud account.

3. Temporary transcript handoff

When you choose Send to Minutes, pendingTranscript and pendingTranscriptTitle are stored temporarily in session storage so the Minutes tool can receive them. They are removed when that tool reads them. An abandoned handoff may remain until the tab or session is cleared. On a shared device, sign out and clear site data after your work.

4. Policy notice and preferences

ca_storage_notice_v1 remembers that you dismissed the browser-storage notice on this device. It does not grant consent to marketing or enable tracking. It remains until you reset the notice or clear site data. Setup progress and policy acceptance are saved to your account so they can follow you across devices.

5. Analytics, advertising and providers

Our application code does not add advertising pixels or optional marketing analytics scripts. Base44 may process hosting, security and service-usage information under its own policy. Acknowledging our storage notice does not opt you into advertising. If we introduce optional tracking that requires consent, we will provide a choice before enabling it. Stripe’s hosted payment pages, Google sign-in and external meeting sites manage their own cookies and controls. Google Fonts requests also transmit connection information when pages load.

6. Your controls

You can inspect, block or delete cookies and site storage in your browser’s privacy settings. Blocking required storage can prevent sign-in or interrupt a workflow. Clearing storage does not cancel a subscription or delete cloud records. Use Plans & billing to cancel renewal and Support to request account deletion. The Reset storage notice button below only restores this app’s explanatory notice; it does not clear authentication or workspace data. See Privacy or Support for questions.
